Merlo have been and remain at the forefront of telescopic handler design and development. Innovative design concepts have been turned into reality and today Merlo offers one of the most extensive range of conventional telescopic and Roto telescopic handlers. Machines such as the ultra compact Merlo P25.6 telescopic handler with it narrow width of 1.8 metres whilst offering a maximum lift capacity of 2.5 tonnes or lift heights up to 6 metres. Alternatively, the Merlo 40.30 MCSS Roto telescopic handler with lift height of 30 metres or a maximum capacity of 4 tonnes, is able to rotate the boom through 360 degrees. Innovations such as the first side mount engine improving visibility or integral whole body side shift on general construction machine means that loads can be placed effectively and safely with the minimum of effort. Merlo’s revolutionary CDC Dynamic Load combines attachment and telehandler to ensure best performance and safety – a new ‘State of the Art’ for the industry!
It is intended that all future attachments produced at the Cuneo factory will incorporate a recognition sensor. When the attachment is connected to the hydraulically-powered fork carriage, the patented CDC system automatically recognises the attachment type, displays a little icon on the cab display, and sets an internal ‘load chart’ specifically matching that attachment to that telehandler.
